EMALI 1st Young Researchers Meeting - Vienna 2008

We are pleased to announce the EMALI Young European Physicists Meeting which is organized by the Institute of Quantum Optics & Quantum Information of the Austrian Academy of Sciences during 22.05. - 24.05.2008 in Vienna.

The YEP (Young European Physicists) meeting is organized exclusively by and mainly for the ESR/ERs of the EMALI Network (Engineering, Manipulation and Characterization of Quantum States of Matter and Light) to enhance exchanging of experience between the ESR/ERs and to promote coopertation between the partner teams.
Attempts will be made to establish contact with other RTNs and invite ESRs and ERs from those, to further promote the interaction of the young researchers on a European scale.

The meeting is comprised of 14 contributed talks given by the ESR/ERs. Additionally a poster session will be held.

We are proud to announce four invited lectures held by renowned professors (Nicolas Cerf, Jakob Yngvason, Rainer Blatt und Rudolph Grimm) and one soft skill seminar by Golin Wissenschaftsseminar about "Leadership & Teamskills".
